A good start of the tournament!

An exciting start to the Corporate Football League tournament, the team made a solid impression last Saturday May 23, when they played against PAGCOR first and later against Petron. A convincing win against Pagcor which resulted in 2 goals, both scored by Jimmy KANGA. Goalie OPI was passed only once resulting in a 2-1 win and 3 points.

The second opponent was more of a challenge, and a more interesting game to watch. Several shots at goal from both sides, and some very spectacular rescues. Daniel ALGRA managed to score first, albeit a bit luckily, and then a third goal from Jimmy KANGA. Petron had certainly put together a strong team, and they also managed to score twice, resulting in a 2-2 draw in the end.

A total of 4 points on the first day of the tournament resulting in a fourth place so far. Considering the top two teams both had a default win because B&M GSM did not show up, we can definitely consider this a good position, and we are hopeful for the cup!

So be there next Saturday, May 30, 4:30pm, at the Emperador Stadium in Taguig, Manila, for the continuation of the CFL tournament. We'll be playing against Sunlife and DKS
